Okay, folks, I’m about to go on a rant here, because I am seriously baffled by the lack of respect Ashton Jeanty is getting in these mock drafts. This guy is an absolute stud, and I’m convinced people are sleeping on him.

Jeanty rushed for over 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns this season! Those are video game numbers! And it’s not just the stats, it’s the way he plays. He’s explosive, he’s powerful, and he’s got that rare ability to make something out of nothing.

Remember that game he had against Georgia Southern? Six touchdowns and 267 rushing yards on just 20 carries! That’s insane! And he followed it up with another 200-yard, three-touchdown performance against Oregon.

Sure, he might have slowed down a bit as the season went on, but that’s because teams started stacking the box and focusing solely on stopping him. If Boise State had a passing game to complement his running, they would have been unstoppable.

I know the NFL is changing, and the running back position isn’t valued as much as it used to be. But with the rise of this new Cover 8 defense, running backs who can catch passes and make plays out of the backfield are becoming more and more important. And Jeanty has shown he can do it all.

This guy is a pro-ready talent who can make an immediate impact in the NFL. He’s got the size, the speed, the vision, and the hands to be a star. I don’t care if a team has to trade up or trade away their current running back to get him, but Ashton Jeanty needs to be a top-five pick in this draft.

He’s the most talented player in this class, and any team that passes on him will regret it. Mark my words, Ashton Jeanty is going to be a star in the NFL. He’s the real deal, and it’s time for everyone to recognize his talent.
