Forget the Playoffs, Bengals. Get Bieniemy or Go Home.

Well, well, well… looks like Eric Bieniemy might be back in the NFL sooner than we thought! Word on the street is that he and UCLA have parted ways, and he’s got his eyes set on a return to the pros. And you know what? The Cincinnati Bengals should be picking up the phone ASAP.

The Bengals, with their disappointing 4-8 record, are in desperate need of a shakeup. Zac Taylor’s seat has gotta be getting warm, and the whispers about his future in Cincinnati are getting louder by the day.

Enter Eric Bieniemy. This guy knows offense, and he knows the Bengals. Remember, he played running back for them back in the day, so there’s already a connection there.

Bringing Bieniemy in as offensive coordinator could be the spark this team needs. Imagine him working with Joe Burrow and that explosive offense – the possibilities are endless! Plus, it could be a smart succession plan. If Taylor doesn’t turn things around, Bieniemy could be the perfect guy to step in and take the reins.

It’s kind of like what the Bengals should’ve done with Hue Jackson or Mike Zimmer back in the Marvin Lewis era. Sometimes, you gotta think ahead and have that next guy ready to go. Bieniemy could be that guy for the Bengals.

This is a move that just makes too much sense. Bieniemy gets back to the NFL, the Bengals get an offensive mastermind, and maybe, just maybe, this team can finally reach its full potential.
