The Dallas Cowboys need to make a smart decision this offseason when it comes to Cooper Rush. While he might not be a flashy name, he’s a valuable asset to the team, and they should do everything they can to keep him in Dallas.

Rush has proven himself to be a capable backup quarterback, stepping in for Dak Prescott on numerous occasions and leading the team to victory. He’s familiar with the Cowboys’ system, he’s respected by his teammates, and he’s a reliable presence in the quarterback room.

In today’s NFL, having a reliable backup quarterback is more important than ever. Injuries happen, and teams need to be prepared for the unexpected. Rush provides that security for the Cowboys. He’s a player who can step in and keep the offense running smoothly, even if Prescott goes down.

The Cowboys have a lot of tough decisions to make this offseason, but re-signing Cooper Rush shouldn’t be one of them. He’s a valuable asset to the team, and they should do everything they can to keep him in Dallas.
