Monday brought news from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, basically handing Cam Ward the QB1 spot. With Will Levis sidelined for the season, Ward is set to kick off as the Titans’ starting quarterback, despite the official title still pending. Joining Ward in the quarterback room are veterans Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle, making Week 1 at Denver an intriguing start for the rookie.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport dropped the bombshell that Levis is heading into surgery for his throwing shoulder on July 29th. Consequently, he will miss the full 2025 season, paving the way for Ward, the top pick from the 2025 NFL Draft, to jump right in as the starter.
