The Tennessee Titans are on the hunt for more firepower at the wide receiver position, and they could be gearing up for a significant addition. With Nick Westbrook-Ikhine moving on to the Miami Dolphins, the Titans find themselves relying heavily on their remaining weapons. Right now, the only real big-play threat left on the roster is Calvin Ridley, which poses a challenge for a team looking to break free from the chains of stagnation.

In addition to Ridley, they’ve got former first-round pick Treylon Burks, who has struggled to step into the shoes left by A.J. Brown. Burks has had his moments, but the consistency just hasn’t been there. To add some depth, the Titans also brought in Van Jefferson on a one-year deal; however, one has to wonder if that’s enough to spark the kind of explosive offense that Titans fans are craving.

Recognizing this offensive need, the Titans are bringing in a promising candidate for a visit: Rondale Moore, a speedster previously drafted by the Arizona Cardinals. Known for his game-breaking ability, Moore put together a strong rookie season in 2021, racking up 54 receptions in just 14 games. However, his production took a dip over the next couple of seasons, with 41 catches in his second year and 40 in the year that followed. His journey took a twist when he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons ahead of the 2024 season, only to have an unfortunate season-ending knee injury during a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins in August, sidelining him from ever playing a snap in Atlanta.

Now, as a free agent, Moore is making the rounds. He has already visited the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings, but a potential landing spot in Nashville could offer him a fresh start. With 135 career catches for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns to his name, Moore possesses the skill set to compete for the starting slot receiver role with the Titans, should he find a home in Tennessee.

For the Titans, adding Moore could inject that much-needed element of explosiveness into their offense. As they work to solidify their receiving corps, the arrival of a player with Moore’s capabilities could set the stage for more dynamic plays and an overall more effective attack. It’s a pivotal moment for Tennessee, and how they handle this process could make a significant difference in their offensive identity moving forward. Fans will be watching closely to see if this visit turns into a much-needed addition.
