Taylor Swift Gets Ruthlessly Destroyed By NFL Fans

With the start of the 2024 NFL season just hours away (!!!), the league’s ongoing fascination with Taylor Swift shows no signs of slowing down – and many fans are getting sick of it.

The musician’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has taken center stage, most recently featured in a 30-second NFL hype video.

While some fans enjoy the continued presence of Swift in the NFL world, many others wish the obsession would just go away.

Needless to say, football fans made their voices heard loud and clear on social media…

“Genuine question, why is Taylor Swift shown more times in this video than anyone in your actual league?”

“STOP SHOWING TAYLOR SWIFT WE DONT CARE.”

“Yet another NFL hype video without a single Browns highlight….”

“The script writers getting ready.”

WILD.”

Swift first captured the attention of the NFL last season when she began dating Kelce.

The 14-time Grammy winner made headlines with her appearances at Arrowhead Stadium, including during the Chiefs’ Week 3 victory over the Bears.

Her presence at games, both home and away, became a media sensation, peaking with the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win against the 49ers in Las Vegas this past February.

After the victory, Swift and Kelce, both 34, shared a kiss on the field, further fueling public interest in their relationship.

While Swift enjoyed her time at the games, engaging in playful antics with other Chiefs’ WAGs and making Jumbotron appearances, she acknowledged the increased attention and stated that she just wants to cheer on her boyfriend.

“I’m just there to support Travis,” Swift told TIME. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Former NFL offensive lineman Justin Pugh, who now hosts the “NetWorth” podcast, stated the obvious: Taylor Swift is good for business.

“Taylor Swift brought new eyeballs, new apparel. You look at (Kristin Juszczyk) she helped put her clothing brand online. Now she has a licensing deal. The business of the sports, the business in the NFL in particular, (the NFL gets) 48.23% of every dollar that comes into that funnel,” Pugh told FOX News Digital.

“The more dollars that come into that funnel, the more that can go into our salary cap, come into our benefits and provide for players. So, who wouldn’t want that? … Show her more times on the NFL. Let’s get every person in America watching it. It’s good for our bank accounts.”

As the Chiefs prepare to open the season at home on Thursday against the Ravens in a highly anticipated AFC Championship rematch, some fans are excited to see Swift at Arrowhead. (While many others are not.)

Where do you stand with the whole Kelce-Swift obsession???
