The Texans are no strangers to handling disgruntled talent. Take Stefon Diggs, for instance, whom they signed in the offseason. He had an impressive run until injury struck. With DeMeco Ryans fostering a robust team culture, the Texans might just be the right environment for Pickens to mature and thrive.
From Houston’s perspective, acquiring Pickens could fill a crucial gap. As Diggs enters free agency and with Tank Dell sidelined for the upcoming season due to injury, the Texans need a boost at wide receiver. Nico Collins has shown promise, but CJ Stroud would undoubtedly benefit from more skilled targets.
