Carly Teller, wife of Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Wyatt Teller, has spoken out about her negative experience during the Browns’ recent game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

In a social media post, Carly described the treatment she received from Steelers fans as “blatantly disrespectful.”

“The fans in Pittsburgh today were so blatantly disrespectful to me and the Browns girls. I’ve never felt so attacked by people who I literally did nothing to. Very sad/embarrassing behavior,” her post stated.

Her post sparked a wave of support in the comments, with many fans condemning the behavior of Pittsburgh fans.

Of course, many others criticized Carly and pointed out the intensity of the Browns-Steelers rivalry.

Carly expanded on the incident via her Instagram Story, sharing a selfie with a friend alongside a caption: “When you’re just trying to have a drink and watch your husbands at work but surrounded by Steelers fans who are screaming at you and the entire team.”

Despite the unpleasant encounter, Carly quickly moved on, posting a lighthearted follow-up on X: “Anyway… back to my bubble in Cleveland to work on my little Christmas cards!”

To his credit, Wyatt Teller had a great response to the situation.

While making it clear that the line is drawn at physical contact, he acknowledged that rivalries get nasty and that trash talk is to be expected.

“So long as they don’t put their hands on a woman or crazy expose themselves or spit on my wife, you can say whatever you want,” he said. “You have to understand when you’re in a hostile environment, like, that’s what you’re going to get.

“I pray our fans are a little better, but I know the Dawg Pound can get a little rowdy,” he added. “I’m not naive to the fact that this rivalry goes so far back. You’ve got to understand it’s hostile out there.”

Needless to say, the season has been a bit of a disaster for the Browns.

Sitting in the basement of the AFC North with a 3-10 record, all the questions in the offseason will surround the future of quarterback Deshaun Watson and his nightmare contract.

Until then, the Teller’s will try their best to enjoy Christmas and try to win a game or two along the way.
