Report: NFL Admits Kendrick Lamar Was A Major Mistake

With Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance being widely called “the worst halftime show in history,” the NFL is reportedly preparing to change their approach going forward.

For many fans, the choice of Lamar was a headscratcher to begin with. While everyone has different taste in music, there were many fans who had never heard of Lamar and didn’t know any of his songs.

There were plenty of people who loved the performance, but it seemed like the vast majority of fans were not happy with it and they certainly made their feelings heard loud and clear on social media…

“This half time show at The Super Bowl by Kendrick Lamar is hot garbage… Worst of all time.”

“Kendrick halftime show was so bad don’t let nobody else try to tell you otherwise. Crowd was not moved an inch, im crine.”

“This is the worst Super Bowl half time performance of all time.”

“Kendrick is the worst halftime show of all time … And P Diddy once performed at a Super Bowl.”

“Kendrick Lamar is so overrated. Worst Super Bowl halftime show in history.”

“Haven’t been watching the game. Everyone on X is talking about how bad this Kendrick Lamar guy is so I asked my friend which team he played for. Apparently he’s not on a team.”

“Kendrick Lamar sucked so bad tonight it’s almost indescribable! … To fix that bad taste in your mouth, I give you a TOP 3 Super Bowl halftime performance of all time!”

“Kendrick Lamar’s #SuperBowl performance has been ranked the worst of all time by FRL!”

According to an NFL insider, the league is reevaluating their process of putting together the Super Bowl halftime show.

“We will push for change, as we don’t want to experience this kind of thing next season,” an NFL source told The U.S. Sun. “The tension linked with Kendrick made us regret giving him the green light. I’m not the only one who thinks this way.

“The same kind of mistake won’t ever happen again. That is what happens when you give too much power and responsibility to one person,” the source added.

“There are many people in the NFL that want to see some changes. They didn’t like this year’s halftime show and the way it happened.”

The choice of Lamar over other potential performers, like New Orleans native Lil Wayne, has also sparked controversy.

Many fans felt that the NFL missed an opportunity to showcase a local legend, and some believe the selection of Lamar may have come at the expense of honoring Wayne’s long-standing support for the league.

In response to the situation, Skip Bayless, a close friend of Lil Wayne, claimed that the NFL had issued an apology to the rapper.

Bayless said the league sent Wayne “a letter that thanked him for his years of supporting the league, not just the Packers – his favorite team – but supporting and promoting the NFL, in general.”

As for the future, it remains to be seen who will perform at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, but the NFL seems determined to avoid repeating the controversy that surrounded this year’s halftime show.
