Popular Super Bowl Champion Arrested On Frightening Charges

Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham, who was part of the 2018 Super Bowl-winning team, was arrested in Tallahassee, Florida, earlier this month.

Bradham was pulled over on October 10 for speeding while driving on a suspended license with his two children in the backseat.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol obtained by TMZ, Bradham was driving at 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. During the stop, Bradham reportedly admitted that he knew his license was suspended.

Authorities also discovered an outstanding warrant for Bradham’s arrest in Leon County for possession of a controlled substance.

The highway patrol report notes that this incident is not the first time the 35-year-old has been found driving with a suspended license.

Following the traffic stop, Bradham was handcuffed, taken to a local jail, and booked.

The arrest adds to Bradham’s ongoing legal troubles.

He has been charged with a felony for driving on a suspended or revoked license. His legal history includes several notable offenses, including a 2021 arrest where he was found with three pounds of cannabis and firearms in his vehicle, resulting in a 30-day probation sentence.

Bradham has also faced charges for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon through a Miami-Dade airport and, two months prior, was arrested on suspicion of battery and aggravated assault at a Miami hotel.

Bradham, initially drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2012, joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016, contributing to their Super Bowl win in 2018.

He briefly joined the New Orleans Saints practice squad and the Denver Broncos roster in 2020.
