Maxx Crosby Sends Stern Warning To Chiefs & Rest Of League

There’s not a football coach alive who wouldn’t love to have Maxx Crosby on their team.

After all, you could make a very strong argument that no one on earth plays harder than Crosby. He’s the ultimate “love him if he’s on your team, hate him if he’s not” player.

The Raiders could have gotten a fortunate of assets in return for Crosby had they decided to trade him at the deadline.

However, they smartly kept him – and the loyal Crosby is thankful for it.

Despite being one of the worst teams in the NFL, Crosby made it clear that his effort level will not drop one single bit.

As a matter of fact, he’s fully embracing the situation that the Raiders find themselves in.

At 2-7, Crosby is taking the “if we can’t get there, we’re gonna make sure you can’t either” approach.

“The reality is we are what our record is, and it’s 2-7, which is not good,” Crosby said on the Let’s Go podcast.

“So I look at it as being the Joker. If we’re not going to be the king of the castle right now might as well go and ruin everyone’s season. And I love that. I love being the villain.”

With struggling quarterback play and little but pride left to play for, the Raiders have entered a stretch where each loss may improve their draft positioning.

But Crosby’s “villain” mindset signals his determination to end the year on his own terms, eager to disrupt the playoff dreams of any team on their schedule.

In the coming weeks, the Raiders will have ample opportunities to play the spoiler, starting with divisional rivals like the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers.

Las Vegas could also stand in the way of playoff hopefuls like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are desperately fighting through an injury-riddled season.

Currently on their bye week, the Raiders next game will be on the road against the struggling Miami Dolphins.

As Crosby made clear, the mission for Vegas is to not only make life miserable for the Dolphins, but everyone else in the NFL for that matter.

What are your thoughts on Madd Maxx and his “villain” approach to the rest of the season???
