It was a heartbreaking Super Bowl for the Kansas City Chiefs as they were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in shocking fashion.
While there were many fans who thought the Eagles would win, no one thought the game was going to be THAT lopsided.
All things considered, it was the worst game that Patrick Mahomes has ever played.
The loss ended the Chiefs’ bid for a historic Super Bowl three-peat – a feat they most likely will never get another shot at.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt was hoping to celebrate his 60th birthday on the heels of accomplishing such an unprecedented feat.
Unfortunately however, Hunt and his family had to head to Cabo for a sun-soaked family vacation without the Lombardi Trophy.
Clark’s daughter, Gracie, took to Instagram to honor her father, sharing a touching message alongside a collection of photos and videos from their trip.
“Happy birthday dad! There’s no one easier to celebrate than you,” she wrote in the caption of her post, along with a series of photos and videos capturing their family vacation.
The first image showcased a sweet father-daughter moment, with Gracie standing beside her father.
She stunned in a black crop top and a flowing black skirt featuring elegant white-accented stripes, while Clark wore a cream-colored ribbed half-zip sweater and matching pants.
The tribute also included a throwback family photo, featuring Clark, Tavia, and Gracie – a nostalgic nod to cherished moments over the years.
One particularly special video captured Clark and Tavia Hunt dancing together, swaying to the music of a live string quartet in front of a beautiful sunset.
The celebration continued into the evening, with another clip showcasing a spectacular fireworks display, illuminating the night sky in a dazzling tribute to the Chiefs owner.
While the Chiefs’ season may have ended on a very sour note, Clark Hunt’s birthday celebration was a reminder of how important family is.
