Footage Emerges From Cowboys Bizarre Locker Room Meltdown

After the Dallas Cowboys’ 30-24 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, tensions ran high as star cornerback Trevon Diggs confronted WFAA reporter Mike Leslie outside the locker room.

Diggs was unhappy with a post Leslie made on social media which questioned Diggs’ effort on a key defensive play, prompting an exchange that quickly turned heated.

The play in question featured Diggs appearing to run at partial speed while pursuing 49ers’ tight end George Kittle during a 43-yard gain, which ultimately set up a go-ahead touchdown for San Francisco in the third quarter.

Leslie posted a critique on X, writing, “What is Trevon Diggs doing on this play?” … It was a comment that clearly struck a nerve with the Cowboys star.

Upon seeing Leslie outside the locker room, Diggs directly confronted him, demanding clarification.

“That’s what you took from that?” Diggs said to Leslie. “Out of that whole play, that’s what you took from that? You don’t know football. You can’t do nothing that I do. You can’t go out there and do nothing. Stay in your lane, buddy. Stop trying me, dog.”

Leslie tried to diffuse the situation, replying, “Just asking the question, Trevon,” Leslie replied. “I mean, I’m happy to have you answer the question.”

“We can talk about it more,” Leslie continued.

“Talk about deez nuts,” Diggs rudely shot back as he left the scene.

Leslie later posted on X, taking a lighthearted jab at the interaction, “I do not have a comment about deez nuts.”

Needless to say, the bizarre exchange caused quite a stir on social media…

“Simply put, Trevon Diggs is a coward. He would rather try to bully a media member than admit he was dogging it. Pathetic.”

“Trevon Diggs sprinting to the locker room after losing a national TV game to search his name on Twitter.”

“Best response to the “Trevon Diggs confronts a reporter” I’ve seen, via r/Cowboys…”

“No way this is the tweet that causes tre to act like that..”

“The problem with the cowboys is they replaced Tony Romo with a younger Tony Romo.”

At the end of the day, the result of the game was a familiar one for Diggs and the Cowboys. With the loss, Dallas drops to 3-4 on the season.

Calls for Mike McCarthy’s job are intensifying and the clock sure is ticking in Big D.

What are your thoughts on the feisty – yet entertaining – postgame exchange?

More importantly, do you think Diggs and the Cowboys will be able to turn their season around before it’s too late???
