Alright folks, let’s talk about Deion Sanders and his son, Shedeur. There’s been a lot of chatter about the possibility of them teaming up in the NFL, but Coach Prime himself is setting the record straight.
Deion recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show and made it clear that he hasn’t had any conversations with NFL teams about a “package deal” with his son. He’s focused on his current gig as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, and he’s got big plans for the program.
Now, Shedeur is a talented quarterback who’s expected to be a high pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.1 He’s had a stellar career at Colorado, and it’s no surprise that NFL teams are interested.
But Deion isn’t letting the rumors distract him. He’s committed to building something special in Colorado, and he believes they can compete for a national championship. He’s got a strong relationship with his athletic director, Rick George, and he’s confident that they can work out a deal to keep him in Boulder.
So, for now, it seems like Deion is staying put. He’s got unfinished business with the Buffaloes, and he’s not ready to jump to the NFL just yet. But hey, you never know what the future holds. Maybe one day we’ll see Deion and Shedeur on the same NFL sideline. Until then, we’ll just have to enjoy watching them dominate at the college level.
