Colin Cowherd Destroyed For Worst Advice In History

The shock of Shedeur Sanders’ dramatic fall in the recent NFL Draft hasn’t quite worn off yet.

As the world knows, the Cleveland Browns ended up selecting Sanders with the 144th overall pick in the draft. (Not quite the top-three result the Sanders family was expecting.)

Before the draft, the New York Giants were at the forefront of rumors, with many believing they were in the market for Sanders.

However, following Sanders’ disastrous meeting with head coach Brian Daboll, the Giants decided to move on from the idea of drafting the controversial QB.

Meanwhile, another major rumor swirled around the Pittsburgh Steelers. With their quarterback room in turmoil, many assumed that the Steelers might target Sanders.

Amid the speculation, FS1’s Colin Cowherd made a headline-grabbing statement that quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.

“The Steelers have been putting band-aids on for six years. I think they have to rip it off. I would trade T.J. Watt, George Pickens, and two first-round picks if your scouting department said, ‘Shedeur Sanders is the guy’, I think you have to go take the next big swing on this thing,” Cowherd recently said

Needless to say, Cowherd’s suggestion completely blew up in his face after Sanders fell to the fifth round in the draft.

Fans were quick to notice Cowherd backtrack on his stance.

Following the draft, Cowherd stated he wasn’t surprised that Sanders fell as far as he did. Some called Cowherd a hypocrite for pulling a perceived 180.

Regardless, the fact of the matter is Sanders is now a Cleveland Brown – and he is set to join a very crowded quarterback room.

What are your thoughts on Sanders’ wild fall in the draft?

As for Cowherd’s original suggestion, is that the single worst trade proposal you’ve ever seen in your life?

At the end of the day, what type of career do you think Sanders will end up having in the NFL???
