The Kansas City Chiefs secured their spot in yet another Super Bowl with a nail-biting 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The two-time defending Super Bowl champions once again dashed the Bills’ postseason dreams, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the charge.

Mahomes delivered an impressive performance, completing 18 of 26 passes for 245 yards, three total touchdown, and no interceptions, finishing with a 111.9 passer rating.

Impressively, Mahomes outshined Bills quarterback Josh Allen once again in a big spot.

The Chiefs’ win marks their fourth playoff elimination of the Josh Allen-led Bills, further cementing Kansas City’s dominance over the AFC East powerhouse.

As the celebrations unfolded, Brittany Mahomes, wife of the Chiefs’ star quarterback, took to Instagram Stories to address a controversial moment from earlier in the season.

She posted a photo of a Kermit the Frog puppet – dressed in a Patrick Mahomes jersey – hanging from a pole, an image that reportedly originated from Bills fans in November.

“Do we remember this, Buffalo? Absolutely disgusting… So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people,” Brittany posted.

Reactions to Brittany’s post were mixed. Some applauded her for calling out the gesture.

“I mean, this is what they are. Good on her for calling their sh*tbag fanbase out,” one fan commented.

“As she should. People take the game too seriously. Sick,” another added.

Even some Bills supporters condemned the gesture: “As a Bills fan/season ticket holder, I can’t stand Mahomes’ family; however, this was entirely wrong and uncalled for. The vast majority of us don’t support this sh*t.”

Despite the off-field drama, the Chiefs remain focused on their ultimate goal: a historic Super Bowl three-peat.

They now shift their attention to Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles.

With two weeks to prepare, Mahomes and the Chiefs have a golden opportunity to make history.
