Bathrooms Are OUT In 2025…Well, At Least For This Brewers Fan

The Milwaukee Brewers returned to American Family Field for their 2025 home opener against the Kansas City Royals on Monday — and unfortunately for fans, the struggles on the field continued.

In what should have been an emotional and spirited welcome back to their home turf — especially in the first game since the passing of legendary broadcaster Bob Uecker in January — the Brewers were instead dealt a humbling 11-1 loss. It was their fourth straight defeat to open the season, following a weekend sweep at the hands of the New York Yankees.

The Royals jumped all over Milwaukee early, scoring three runs in the first inning and then piling on with six more in the seventh. The Brewers’ bats were mostly silent, and the pitching staff had no answers. The lackluster performance quickly took the energy out of what was supposed to be a celebratory afternoon.

Unfortunately, things got even worse off the field. In one of the more disturbing moments of the day, an intoxicated fan was caught on camera urinating near the concessions area instead of using the restroom. The shocking scene unfolded in front of stunned fans, some of whom filmed the incident as others, including families with children, walked by in disbelief.

It quickly went viral on social media, and many have called for the fan to face criminal charges. There has been no confirmation yet from authorities on whether the individual was removed from the stadium or arrested. Regardless, the act has sparked outrage and raised questions about stadium alcohol policies and fan behavior.

If the Brewers’ on-field product wasn’t already frustrating enough for fans, the off-field embarrassment only added to what’s shaping up to be a miserable start to the 2025 season. With the team sitting at 0-4 and struggling in every phase of the game, the early signs point to a long and difficult year in Milwaukee.

The franchise hoped to honor Uecker’s legacy and begin a new chapter in front of their home crowd, but instead, they delivered an opener to forget — for both players and fans alike.
