Aaron Rodgers Under Fire For Brutal Cheap Shot

As speculation swirls around Aaron Rodgers’ future in the NFL, the four-time MVP remains tight-lipped about whether he’ll return to the field in 2025 – or if he’s already taken his last snap.

At 41 years old, Rodgers has been linked to only one serious potential destination should he make a comeback: the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But over the weekend, a fan tossed out another suggestion during a live taping of the Ya Neva Know podcast, asking if Rodgers would consider joining the quarterback-needy New Orleans Saints.

“Would you ever consider playing for the Saints and making us great again?” the fan asked.

Rodgers didn’t hesitate…

“No,” Rodgers bluntly snapped. “That’s the answer. No. I’ve played there a couple of times but no. The answer is no. I’m too old, I don’t want to live in Louisiana. Sorry.”

That moment quickly made the rounds online, adding further clarity – if not closure – to questions about where Rodgers might land should he return.

With Derek Carr now retired, New Orleans is in the market for stability under center. But Rodgers clearly won’t be the one leading the charge.

As things stand, the Saints will enter training camp with a crowded but uncertain quarterback room consisting of Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, and Jake Haener.

The team could still explore external options, including free agents like Ryan Tannehill or potential trade candidates such as Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, or even a reunion with Jameis Winston.

There’s also the possibility of scooping up a cut-day casualty as rosters take shape later in the offseason.

Rodgers’ comments, however, have definitively removed one name from the Saints’ potential wish list.

What are your thoughts on Rodgers shooting down the idea of playing in New Orleans???
