Floyd Mayweather to Become the Owner of the New York Giants

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. is reportedly looking to add another title to his resume: NFL owner. He’s reportedly interested in purchasing a 10% stake in the New York Giants, and he’s putting together a massive offer to make it happen.

This news comes after the Giants announced their intention to sell a minority stake in the team, valued at a whopping $7.3 billion by Forbes. Mayweather and his business partner, Meyer Orbach, are reportedly prepared to offer around $700 million for a 10% share.

Mayweather, who has a net worth of around $400 million, is no stranger to making big investments. He’s known for his lavish lifestyle and his successful boxing career, which has earned him millions of dollars. Now, it seems he’s looking to diversify his portfolio and join the growing ranks of athletes who have become sports team owners.

This move would make Mayweather one of the few Black owners in the NFL, a league that has faced criticism for its lack of diversity in ownership. It would also be a significant investment in one of the most storied franchises in NFL history.

It remains to be seen whether Mayweather’s bid will be successful, but it’s certainly a bold move that has generated a lot of buzz in the sports world. If he does become a part-owner of the Giants, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of impact he has on the team and the league.
