Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, chose a nostalgic look for Halloween that paid tribute to her boyfriend’s early NFL days – and it didn’t go unnoticed by former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, whose playful jab stirred the pot even further.
The 24-year-old Hudson posted a Halloween picture on social media, where she sported a cropped white shirt emblazoned with “GIANTS” in blue and the Roman numerals “XXI,” representing the New York Giants Super Bowl XXI victory back in the 1986 season.
The outfit was a direct nod to Belichick’s time as the Giants defensive coordinator from 1985 to 1990.
Hudson, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, gave a nod to Belichick’s roots as a way to show her affection for the 72-year-old NFL legend.
Always witty, Fitzpatrick took to social media to share his thoughts on the situation.
“For all you 48 year old hopeless romantics out there just think your future person may not even be born yet,” Fitzpatrick posted on X.
This playful jab from Fitzpatrick, now an analyst for Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football,” hinted at the significant 48-year age gap between Belichick and Hudson.
While Fitzpatrick’s comment was funny and lighthearted, it highlighted the unique romance between Hudson and the three-time NFL Coach of the Year, whose coaching legacy includes 8 total Super Bowl titles.
Interestingly, Belichick and Hudson posed for another set of Halloween photos which featured the legendary coach reeling in a mermaid (Hudson) with his fishing pole…
Joining in the Halloween spirit was Belichick’s ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday.
Belichick and Holliday were together for 16 years before their breakup in September 2023.
Flashing quite the sense of humor of her own, Holliday dressed as Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill.
(Get it?? – Kill BILL.)
Predictably, some people took offense with Holliday’s choice of costume, but she made sure to snap back at those critics.
“Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING? Ya’ll would have never survived in the Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, etc, etc days … shoot you wouldn’t survive the late night talk shows like Jay Leno or David Letterman. For the love of God, laugh a little. Lighten up. Everything isn’t an attack,” Holliday posted on Instagram.
On that note, I hope you all had a Happy Halloween.
It’s nice to see Belichick and both his current and former girlfriends were in the holiday spirit.
What are your thoughts on Fitzpatrick’s clever shot at Bill???
