3 Super Bowl Contenders Trying To Trade For Troubled Tyreek Hill

Rumors of a potential trade involving Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill have been circulating, with teams such as the Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, and Baltimore Ravens reportedly showing interest.

However, those discussions may be put on pause after Hill was investigated by Florida police earlier this week for an alleged domestic dispute.

Authorities responded to a call reporting an “assault in progress” at Hill’s residence, leading to an investigation into the incident.

According to reports, the dispute reportedly occurred between Hill and his wife. Hill’s mother-in-law described the wide receiver as “very aggressive and impulsive” during the confrontation, voicing concerns for her daughter’s safety.

She allegedly called the police after witnessing Hill smash a computer and take his daughter onto a balcony of their high-rise condominium, located on the 35th floor.

Following the police investigation, the Miami Dolphins addressed the situation with an official statement, seeking to clarify the events.

“On Monday, we were informed that the police were called to Tyreek Hill’s home, and after conversations with Tyreek and members of his family, the police departed the residence without further incident and the case was closed. We have since been in communication with Tyreek and the NFL and will have no further comment on the matter,” the statement read.

The police report indicated that Hill’s wife expressed concerns over her husband’s behavior, stating that he “becomes angry and throws objects around.”

She also noted that the couple had attended therapy sessions, but their issues remained unresolved. Furthermore, she mentioned her intention to file for divorce.

However, Hill’s wife also claimed that the wide receiver took their child “without malice,” an action that Hill reportedly acknowledged.

In the police report, Hill defended his actions, stating, “I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want.”

This incident adds to a long pattern of troubling past interactions involving Hill with both women and law enforcement, and it remains to be seen how it may impact any potential trade discussions.

While head coach Mike McDaniel has been ultra-supportive of Hill, there are rumblings that Miami’s front office is looking to trade him.

Should teams continue to be interested in acquiring Hill? … Or are these continued incidents a big enough red-flag for teams to permanently back off???
