You’ll Never Believe How Much Snoop Dogg’s Being Paid To Be At Olympics

If you’ve watched any of the Paris Olympic Games, you’ve certainly had a whole lot of Snoop Dogg in your life this past week-plus.

The hip-hop icon has been all over Paris supporting Team USA at various events. As it turns out, Snoop has an unexpected partnership with NBC for the duration of the Olympics.

The 52-year-old artist from Los Angeles County, California, has reportedly received a substantial sum to help promote the games for the network.

According to a social media post by Henry McNamara, Snoop Dogg is earning $500,000 per day, plus expenses, for his presence at the Olympics.

This lucrative arrangement means that over the 16-day event, the rapper will amass a staggering $8 million, excluding expenses.

“Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner,” McNamara posted. “He said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics.

“From Gin and Juice to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics – what a world.”

The collaboration between Snoop Dogg and NBC is part of a broader strategy to attract viewers to the 2024 Paris Games, with other high-profile celebrities also joining the effort.

Snoop has been spotted attending various events, including women’s gymnastics and beach volleyball, proudly donning Team USA and NBC merchandise.

Snoop has sold 35 million albums worldwide, but it’s well-known that he’s just as passionate about sports as he is music.

As it turns out, his involvement in the Olympics is not just a matter of passion for sports or the network; it is a well-compensated promotional effort.

The 2024 Olympic Games, which conclude on Sunday, August 11, have showcased incredible performances from athletes like Katie Ledecky, Novak Djokovic, and Simone Biles, among many others.

Snoop Dogg has brought great passion and spirit to the Games – passion and spirit which he reportedly is being compensated handsomely for.
