Eventually, he exited the game, raising concerns for Toronto’s playoff aspirations. The Blue Jays reassured fans later, announcing that X-rays were negative and diagnosing Guerrero with a right forearm contusion.
Even without Guerrero for part of the game, Toronto managed to shut out Cleveland 6-0 and claimed victory in the series rubber match. As the Blue Jays aim for a playoff push in the American League, Guerrero’s presence is undeniably critical. His performance and spirit are central to Toronto’s pursuit of postseason success. Losing Guerrero would certainly make that quest much more challenging, highlighting just how integral he is to the team’s fortunes.
