Cameron Skattebo, Arizona State’s star running back, just had himself a game for the ages in the Peach Bowl. Despite the tough overtime loss to Texas, Skattebo put on a show, rushing for 143 yards and two touchdowns, and leading the Sun Devils with 8 catches for 99 receiving yards. Talk about a workhorse!

But after the game, a fan on Twitter tried to stir up some drama. This guy, Neil Denblomi, posted a picture of Skattebo out with his family the night before the game. He claimed Skattebo was “out late last night” and implied that he was partying.

Well, Skattebo wasn’t having any of it. He quickly set the record straight, explaining that it was only 8:30 PM, he was with his family, and he doesn’t even drink alcohol. He even suggested that the fan was just upset because he couldn’t get an autograph or a picture.

Boom! Roasted.

Not surprisingly, the fan deleted the tweet and his account shortly after. It’s a good reminder that not everything you see on the internet is true.

Skattebo’s performance in the Peach Bowl was a fitting end to an incredible season. He rushed for over 1,700 yards and 21 touchdowns, adding another 45 catches for 605 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. This guy is a beast!

He’s definitely boosted his NFL Draft stock with his performance this year. The 2025 draft is loaded with talented running backs, but Skattebo has put himself firmly in the conversation. Don’t be surprised if he hears his name called in the middle rounds.

As for the Longhorns, they move on to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl and College Football Playoff semifinal. That’s going to be a must-watch matchup!
