Oregon Bashed For Having Fake Bandwagon Fans

Oregon is undoubtedly one of the best teams in the country.

At 10-0 and ranked No. 1 in the polls, Dan Lanning’s team is one of the favorites to win the national title.

After a slow start to the season, the Ducks have hit their stride and have developed into the dominant force that most expected them to be all along.

Having said that, Oregon’s fanbase – and in particular the students – have been called out for bailing on the Ducks.

During Oregon’s 39-18 victory over Maryland this past Saturday, many noticed a disappointing trend as hundreds of students exited Autzen Stadium well before the final whistle.

Despite leading on the scoreboard, the student section was mostly empty as the Ducks closed out their win.

The mass exodus came in the fourth quarter with Oregon leading by only 11 points.

Needless to say, the image of the empty stands caught the attention of the college football world…

“I’m with ya man. I’ve been saying the same thing for years now. They showed up for the Ohio State game, kudos for that, but otherwise the Oregon student section has been trash since Mariota left. U of O should shrink the section and sell some of the seats.”

“With 25k students itā€™s insane itā€™s not packed to the brim. Student tickets used to be gone within a minute.”

“Shouldnā€™t be allowed back.”

“Games not even in hand right now wtf.”

“Oregon cannot take being this good and number one for granted.”

“Why do they leave so early.”

“Extremely disappointing.”

“What the F?”

“Smh itā€™s a 11 point game.”

Regardless of the criticism, Lanning’s team is marching forward, and they seem to be getting better and better each and every week.

Next up for the top-ranked Ducks is a Big Ten clash against the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm EST (4:30pm PST).

What are your thoughts on the heat and criticism aimed at the Oregon students who bailed on their team early???
