Jerry Jones Admits He’s Jealous Of The Eagles … Hints That Philly Has Been Lucky

The Dallas Cowboys find themselves playing catch-up in the NFC East standings, relentlessly pursuing the Philadelphia Eagles who have mastered the art of winning close contests.

The rivalry between the two teams has intensified, with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressing his frustration and eagerness for the pendulum to swing in Dallas’ favor.

In a candid interview on 105.3 The Fan, Jones bemoaned the narrow victories that have become a trademark for the Eagles.

“What have I done to deserve this? Why can’t that ball bounce the right way?” Jones complained, revealing the inner turmoil caused by the Eagles ability to clinch seven games by a margin of seven points or fewer.

The Eagles recent victories have not been without their share of challenges.

Despite allowing more yards than gained in their last four wins, including a 28-23 triumph over the Cowboys in Week 9, Philadelphia continues to find ways to secure tight victories.

Reflecting on the close encounters, Jones highlighted the unpredictable nature of the NFL.

“It just reminds me of all of the ways that you are involved and in many perspectives of the NFL, and the impact of games,” Jones lamented, referencing key moments like Luke Schoonmaker’s tackle just shy of the end zone and Dak Prescott’s narrowly missed two-point attempt.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, have showcased dominance against inferior opponents, securing seven wins by at least 20 points.

However, their inability to defeat teams with winning records has left them with a notable discrepancy in scoring margin compared to the Eagles.

As the Cowboys gear up to face the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, a victory could see them favored in a pivotal Week 14 matchup against the Eagles.

Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers, one of the few teams with a scoring margin greater than the Eagles, aim to disrupt Philadelphia’s pattern of close wins in their upcoming showdown on Sunday.

The NFC East race is heating up, and as the Cowboys and Eagles prepare for crucial matchups down the stretch.

Looking at the big picture – Who’s chances do you like better to make the Super Bowl?

Despite their record, the Eagles don’t seem as dominant as last season and they’ve been playing with fire in most of these close games.

Is this the year the Cowboys finally make the Super Bowl?

Who is Dallas’ biggest threat – the Eagles or Niners???
