Tennessee Titans fans might have just gotten a major hint about their future quarterback. During a recent Fortnite stream, Cam Ward — one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft — was asked to name some of the best players and coaches in the NFL. Strangely enough, nearly all of his answers had one thing in common: they were tied to the Tennessee Titans.
Ward, who has been a rising name on draft boards, praised Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks, even going as far as to call him a “Top 4 receiver in the NFL.” While that comment had fans laughing and flooding the chat with crying emojis, it didn’t go unnoticed. Add in that Ward also complimented Titans head coach Brian Callahan and even mentioned Derrick Henry — despite Henry no longer being on the Titans — and the pieces are starting to connect.
Given that the Titans hold the No. 7 overall pick in the upcoming draft, it’s easy to see why people are starting to believe that Cam Ward knows something the public doesn’t. Either he’s had some pretty heavy communication with Tennessee’s front office during the pre-draft process, or he’s already mentally preparing to wear two-tone blue.
Ward’s fit in Tennessee would make a lot of sense. The Titans are desperate for a young quarterback to pair with Burks, Calvin Ridley, and a revamped offensive line. Ward’s arm strength, mobility, and big-play ability could bring a fresh dynamic to a team that’s been searching for a long-term answer at quarterback ever since Marcus Mariota’s departure.
The Fortnite stream might have just been for fun, but in today’s NFL, sometimes that’s where the biggest clues slip out. Titans fans are already running wild with the speculation that Ward to Tennessee is basically a done deal — and after his comments, you can’t really blame them.
