The Buffalo Bills are eyeing strategies to enhance their roster during Free Agency, and one name fans should keep in mind for a potential acquisition is Hollywood Brown. This dynamic receiver, who clocked a 4.7-second time at the NFL Combine, has donned the jerseys of the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals before making his way to the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, with speculation swirling about his future, he could be on the move once again come 2026.

Buffalo fans have long voiced their concern regarding the talent surrounding franchise quarterback Josh Allen. In the 2025 season, Allen showcased his exceptional ability by earning the NFL MVP award, achieving this remarkable feat despite navigating a landscape devoid of top-tier offensive weapons. While it’s a testament to his skill and leadership, the ultimate goal for the Bills is to capture the Super Bowl trophy. To break through the formidable playoff barriers set by teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, it’s abundantly clear that they need to bolster their offensive arsenal.

Currently, the Bills can count on solid contributors like running back James Cook, while Keon Coleman is projected to develop into a reliable big-bodied X-receiver on the outside. Khalil Shakir has emerged as Allen’s trustable target on critical third downs. Yet, what this unit truly craves is an elite deep threat—a role that Hollywood Brown could fill exceptionally well.

While there has been some chatter regarding Amari Cooper’s potential return to Buffalo, it appears that the chances are slim. Brown’s recent stats tell a compelling story as he navigated a difficult season. In just two games with the Chiefs, he managed to pull in nine receptions for 91 yards. His playoff performance, however, raises eyebrows—he caught five passes out of 13 targets, resulting in just 50 yards.

Compounding these challenges was a significant injury that sidelined him for the majority of the previous season. The Chiefs, now benefiting from the explosive talents of Xavier Worthy, who made headlines with a remarkable 157-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Super Bowl, may find themselves priced out of Brown’s market value. While Kansas City could consider him as a depth option at a discounted rate, the Bills, with their unique needs and cap space, may view him as an integral piece worth a higher investment.

If the Chiefs can land Brown for a modest price of around three to five million dollars, it would certainly be a coup for them. However, for the Bills, who lack a playmaker of Worthy’s caliber on their roster, dedicating a more significant budget to secure Hollywood Brown could prove to be a game-changer, infusing their offense with the deep-threat capability that has been missing. The coming weeks should shape up to be pivotal in both the Bills’ and Brown’s futures.
