Draft a High-End Running Back
The Broncos’ ground game has been a weak point, with the team ranking 16th in the NFL for rushing yards and average rushing yards per game. While not disastrous, when compared to playoff powerhouses with dominating run games like Philadelphia and Baltimore, it’s clear improvement is needed. Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime, and Blake Watson didn’t deliver the punch needed in the backfield. Even with Javonte Williams showing tepid results, it makes sense to look forward to the 2025 Draft. Players like Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson, or Cam Skattebo could provide the much-needed spark.
A great budget pick would be Ollie Gordon from Oklahoma State. Their offense wasn’t great this past year – as the team went 3-9. But leave no doubt, Ollie is SPECIAL. Don’t forget he won the DOAK WALKER Award for the Best Running Back in CFB in 2024.
