The Tennessee Titans currently hold the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but they should seriously keep their options open when it comes to trading this selection. This trade would be in response to Hiring Deion Sanders as their next head coach, because Sanders would want to draft his son Shedeur Sanders.
Trade Proposal:
Titans Receive: QB Dak Prescott, #12 Overall Pick in 2025 & DAL 2nd Round Pick in 2026
Cowboys Receive: #1 Overall Pick in 2025

The Titans are clear winners in this as they don’t have to bank on the “Potential” of a Cam Ward to be their future, and this gives 2nd year head coach Brian Callahan a proven quarterback that is light years beyond a Will Levis or Mason Rudolph. Some may say that the #1 Overall Pick is too valuable to pass up. I would argue getting the #12 Overall as well as a 2nd the following year in addition to immediately upgrading the Quarterback spot puts you in contention for the AFC South crown NOW!

The Dallas Cowboys could just wait at #12 or trade up to like pick #4 to select Shedeur, but knowing how Jerry Jones and Deion Sanders operate, they’d want to secure their future quarterback immediately. This could be a major mistake for Dallas, and it’s not one I’d advise as you’re losing valuable draft capitol, but it’s a possibility that Cowboys fans need to familiarize themselves with.
