CFB Expert Predicts Shocking Upset Tomorrow

The majority of the college football world was quite upset when ESPN removed David Pollack from College GameDay.

Pollack, who had an excellent playing career for the Georgia Bulldogs, quickly became one of the most popular analysts in his post-playing days.

Now on to greener pastures, Pollack has weighed in on this week’s slate of games.

Speaking on his podcast, Pollack shared his thoughts on tomorrow’s massive showdown between the No. 11 USC and No. 18 Michigan.

Despite the Trojans being significant favorites, Pollack believes Michigan has a strong chance to control the game, particularly with the change at quarterback.

“There’s something about a culture that when you talk down on them, and you beat down on them, I think you’re going to see the best version of them,” Pollack said of the Wolverines.

Pollack pointed out Michigan’s ground game as the key to victory, especially after the decision to bench David Warren in favor of Alex Orji, who will make his first start of the season.

According to Pollack, this shift will allow Michigan to play to its strengths.

“I think they’re mad, they’re at home… With quarterback Alex Orji, all they’re going to do is run,” Pollack said.

The Wolverines entered the season with high expectations under first-year head coach Sherrone Moore, ranked No. 9 nationally.

They opened the season with a 30-10 win over Fresno State but faltered in Week 2, suffering a rare home loss to Texas, 31-12 at The Big House.

That defeat cast doubt on Michigan’s outlook for the season, with many fans and analysts questioning the current roster’s ability to compete at a high level.

However, Michigan bounced back in Week 3 with a 28-18 win over Arkansas State, providing a spark of momentum as they prepare to face USC.

Pollack believes that with Orji under center and the Wolverines’ rushing attack leading the charge, Michigan has the pieces in place to pull off an upset over the Trojans.

Having said that, there’s a reason why the Trojans are favored. So far, they have proven to be the better team and are led by the ultra-underrated Miller Moss.

Moss has patiently waited his turn at USC and has now emerged as a Heisman Trophy contender under head coach Lincoln Riley.

While USC’s offense has been explosive with Moss at the helm, Pollack believes the defensive battle and Michigan’s ability to control the game on the ground will ultimately decide the outcome.

What are your thoughts on Pollack’s take?

Do you think Michigan will pull off the upset and silence the doubters???
