With all the movement that has already taken place, one thing is becoming clearer and clearer – there doesn’t seem to be a strong market for Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.
Of course, the Bears are expected to draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in next month’s draft. The expectation was that they’d most likely trade Fields and get what they can, while they can.
However, the phone doesn’t seem to be ringing off the hook for Fields. Or ringing at all quite frankly.

It’s not a foregone conclusion that Fields is moved.
General manager Ryan Poles is not going to just give him away for nothing. However, the lack of interest has surprised some around the league.
And Ryan Poles will be fired next offseason if he goes down this path and JF doesn’t lead them to at least 10-11 wins

Some expected him to be traded to his hometown Atlanta Falcons … But they smartly went with Kirk Cousins instead.
Some thought the Pittsburgh Steelers might express interest … But they decided to bring Russell Wilson in to compete with Kenny Pickett.
Other possible destinations include the Minnesota Vikings and Las Vegas Raiders. However, neither are looking likely to say the least.

So, where might he end up???
Well, multiple reports have indicated that the Philadelphia Eagles might be interested in trading for Fields.
That historic contract they signed Jalen Hurts to last year isn’t looking so hot right now. But the fact of the matter is they’re stuck with him, at least for now.
The Eagles are hoping Hurts will have a bounce-back year in 2024. Whether he does or not, he will still be the unquestioned starter.
Having said that, Philadelphia is reportedly interested in adding Fields to their offensive arsenal as somewhat of a special weapon. (Think Taysom Hill.)

Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network floated the possibility…
Interesting nugget from @MoveTheSticks on @nflnetwork just now. If the price drops dramatically, would the #eagles be interested in Justin Fields as a dynamic athletic backup to Jalen Hurts?

As did Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com…
“Give me a team that might be willing to send a third day draft pick now,” Rich Eisen asked Breer on his show.
“Eagles,” Breer responded.
More than 24 hours into #NFLFreeAgency and Justin Fields is still on the Bears roster — what is his trade value now? Could Chicago really keep him through the #NFLDraft now?#NFL #DaBears pic.twitter.com/Xk48LhqBfT

What are your thoughts on the Eagles potential interest in Fields?
Are you surprised that Fields hasn’t received more interest from teams around the league?
What do you think the future holds for him? … Is he TRULY capable of being a franchise quarterback???
