The UCLA Bruins concluded their regular season with a disheartening 33-7 loss against Cal, leaving sixth-year head coach Chip Kelly with a career record of 34-34 with the Bruins.
At 7-5, they have qualified for a bowl game – but no one is happy with the season, especially Kelly.
Chip Kelly at this point not even a top 25 Caliber coach
YOU ARE NOT coming close to competing for a NC
Just look at this bamboozle effort vs Cal after ‘great win’ at USC

Kelly’s tenure at UCLA has seen limited success, with just three seasons finishing with a record above .500.
His recruiting classes have been a source of great criticism as well…
Chip Kelly’s UCLA recruiting classes:
2024: #56
2023: #37
2022: #61
2021: #32
2020: #33 https://t.co/x6BlD3VThi— Ethan (@ESabro3) November 24, 2023
Despite all the negativity, UCLA has decided to keep Kelly.
He’s expected to return for his seventh season – and it will be the most challenging one yet as the Bruins are set to join the Big Ten conference.

The pivotal moment that may have salvaged Kelly’s job came in the form of a convincing 38-20 victory over the crosstown rival USC Trojans.
There’s no downplaying how important that victory was for Kelly (and he knows it).

What are your thoughts on Kelly?
Did UCLA make the right decision to keep him???
