WATCH: Mavs Fan Ruthlessly TORCHES Charles Barkley Outside TD Garden … Was The Taunting Warranted? Or Did He Cross The Line??

The Boston Celtics have raced out to a commanding 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals.

The reason why the Celtics were the best team throughout the entire season is because of their dominant and relentless depth.

General manager Brad Stevens deserves all the credit in the world for piecing together such a stacked roster.

Having said that, if Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic were to receive any help from his teammates whatsoever, perhaps the series could look a whole lot different than it does right now.

Regardless, the series now heads down south to Texas as the Mavs get set to host Game 3 on Wednesday.

Dallas is more than capable of creeping back into the series, but unless Kyrie Irving gets himself off the milk carton, the task could prove to be too dauting.

We’ll soon find out…

Game 2 provided us with plenty of fireworks … Not all of which happened on the court.

As it turns out, NBA Hall of Famer and ultra-popular analyst Charles Barkley was ruthlessly heckled as he entered the TD Garden prior to tipoff.

The heckler, who was wearing a Doncic Mavs jersey, targeted Barkley over his lack of NBA championships.

“The guy with no championship rings! He sucked at basketball! Zero rings!” the heckler shouted at Barkley in a video that quickly went viral on social media.

“He has zero rings! You are Jordan’s son! Imagine not winning an NBA championship!” he continued.

Initially, Barkley ignored the taunts and walked past the heckler.

However, he turned back after the second shot and reportedly responded, “Now what if I punched him in the face? … He would have felt bad if I just punched him in the face.”

Needless to say, the video of the verbal attack garnered plenty of reaction on social media…

“Should be get-out-of-jail-free cards for people to knock someone’s lights out. People get away with too much.”

“The irony of some guy who has probably done nothing in his career, mocking a legend of the game.”

“Why do fans do this? He is only saying this stuff because he knows that Barkley can’t respond.”

“Wish we could go back to the days when we could beat these losers up man lol.”

“Considering barkley goes on TV and talks about how much he doesn’t care about the NBA today and has 0 interest in the finals and bashes every young player. He deserves all of this and more.”

Barkley is widely considered one of the greatest players in NBA history. However, the one thing his critics are quick to point out is the fact that he never won a championship.

Barkley was named an All-Star in 11 of his 16 NBA seasons, which spanned from 1984 to 2000.

He would go on to join the heavily-acclaimed “Inside the NBA” program, which reportedly will soon come to an end due to Turner losing NBA broadcasting rights. (Although they are currently trying to negotiate a partial package with the league that could possibly save the show.)

Barkley recently opened up about his sadness and pure frustration over “Inside the NBA” coming to an end.

“That’s the one thing that’s really, really bothered me the most about the TNT experience … Like, hey man, just tell us something,” Barkley said of Turner’s lack of communication throughout the process.

“Everybody’s got an article coming out every day about ‘We’ve still got a chance’ or ‘We’ve lost it.’ You guys see us every week, how about picking up the phone, saying ‘Hey, we’re still negotiating’ or ‘You know what, we’ve lost it.’ Just trust us. Because the one thing that really sucks, we gotta do this next year no matter what.”

What are your thoughts on the heckler attacking Barkley?

Was it all fair game? … Or did he cross the line?

More importantly, what are your thoughts on “Inside the NBA” reportedly coming to an end?

What’s your favorite “Inside the NBA” moment of all-time???
