(VIDEO & MUGSHOT): Leaked Footage Shows Former NFL Star Punching & Breaking Door At 7-Eleven Leading To His Third Arrest…

Former Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew found himself in legal trouble once again, as he was arrested in Dallas this past Sunday.

Surveillance footage obtained by TMZ Sports reveals Pettigrew’s altercation with law enforcement at a 7-Eleven.

In the video, Pettigrew is seen punching a glass door after engaging with police officers inside the store.

Eyewitnesses stated that he resisted apprehension by pulling away from the officers, but ultimately complied when they brandished tasers.

He was then handcuffed without further incident.

The reason for the officers’ presence at the store remains undisclosed at this time.

However, TMZ Sports reported that Pettigrew was charged with criminal mischief and was released from custody on the same day.

A mugshot of Pettigrew following the arrest has been released to the public.

Pettigrew, who played seven seasons in the NFL, spent his entire career with the Lions after being selected as the 20th overall pick out of Oklahoma State in 2009.

While he showcased early promise with consecutive seasons of over 70 catches and 700 yards in 2010 and 2011, his performance declined in subsequent years.

Over his career, he amassed 301 receptions for 2,965 yards and 17 touchdowns in 93 games for the Lions, setting records for receptions and receiving yards by a Lions tight end until recently.

This isn’t the first time Pettigrew has encountered legal issues since retiring from the NFL.

According to TMZ, Sunday’s arrest marks his third brush with the law.

In 2017, he was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct at a nightclub in Oklahoma, and a year later, he faced charges for assaulting a police officer in Pittsburgh.
