Hogans is no stranger to excellence; he brings with him an impressive résumé, highlighted by a pair of NCAA Division II championship titles in the 200m while competing at Pittsburg State.
His accolades don’t just stop at the championships. Hogans is a 10-time NCAA Division II first-team All-American, demonstrating his versatility on the track with honors earned in the 60m, 100m, 200m, as well as in both the 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relays across four NCAA meets in the last two years. This level of performance shows just how impactful he has been for his team.
During his tenure at Pittsburg State, Hogans played a crucial role in leading the program to a historic sweep of four NCAA Division II team titles in 2024 and 2025. His personal bests are nothing short of impressive: he clocked a 10.13 in the 100m, an electrifying wind-aided time of 9.96, alongside a 20.36 in the 200m, and a wind-aided 20.11. He also managed to finish with a 46.85 in the 400m, a testament to his sprinting prowess across distances.
A thrilling performance came during the prelims of the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships, where he finished with a wind-aided 9.96 in the 100m. He capped off the weekend by capturing a bronze medal in the finals with a 9.99. His excellence didn’t stop there—Hogans also shone in the 200m, where he hit the track with a 20.11 in the prelims before taking the title in the finals with a time of 20.39. Notably, he anchored the winning 4 x 400m relay team, contributing a solid 45.85 split to their impressive time of 3:03.95.
At the 2025 MIAA Conference Championships, Hogans added to his growing list of accolades by sweeping the sprints: he won the 100m in 10.13, followed by a winning 200m in 20.42, and also contributed to a triumphant 4 x 100m relay team that finished in 39.49.
Indoors, Hogans continued to showcase his talent by claiming silver in the 200m at the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships with a time of 20.64 and running the first leg of a victorious 4 x 400m relay. At the MIAA Indoor Conference meet, he again displayed his speed, taking home the 200m title in 20.82, finishing second in the 60m with a time of 6.69 (6.65 in prelims), and contributing to another winning 4 x 400m relay team.
In 2024, he not only captured the 200m title at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a time of 20.38 but also secured fourth place in the 100m with a wind-aided 10.13, having previously posted a time of 10.08 in the prelims. His relay skills were on display as he helped his team to a fifth-place finish in the 4 x 100m and was part of the winning 4 x 400m relay at NCAA Division II Indoor competition, finishing seventh in the 60m final.
Before he joined Pittsburg State, Hogans made a name for himself at Hinds Community College and was a standout at Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana. While at Hinds, he dominated the 2023 NJCAA Championships, laying claim to both the 100m and 200m titles, running a 10.22 and 20.50 respectively after impressive preliminary performances.
