Tom Brady Discusses Transitioning To FOX Lead Analyst Role And Future Plans For September (VIDEO)

Tom Brady is set to make his debut as FOX’s lead football analyst this year, taking over the role from Greg Olsen. The former NFL quarterback confirmed his new position, revealing that he will work alongside Kevin Burkhardt starting in September. However, there won’t be a three-man broadcast team, indicating that Olsen will move to the no. 2 crew, partnering with Joe Davis.

Brady expressed his eagerness for the new role, emphasizing his belief that he can provide a unique perspective. He acknowledged the challenge ahead, describing it as a way to continue growing and expanding his skills.

While Brady has immense respect for Olsen, he noted that he has already developed a strong rapport with Burkhardt. The move comes after Brady signed a lucrative 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX in 2022.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion shared insights into his preparation for the broadcasting role, highlighting the extensive research, conversations with industry friends, and practice sessions he has undertaken. Brady’s extensive football knowledge from his 23-year career as a player has provided a strong foundation for his new endeavor.

Olsen received praise for his work this season, particularly during the NFC Championship Game, but the move to Brady as the lead analyst means he won’t continue in that role alongside Burkhardt.
