THESE 2 Super Bowl Contenders Have Emerged As Favorites To Trade For Shutdown CB L’Jarius Sneed … Where Will He End Up??

Amidst a storm of rumors, the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs have decided to utilize the franchise tag on star shutdown cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.

While in a perfect world they’d love to work out a long-term extension with Sneed, the reality is that might not be possible.

Kansas City has given Sneed permission to snoop around for possible trade partners. He is said to be seeking a team that will give him a lucrative 3-4 year contract.

By wisely using the franchise tag, the Chiefs prevent Sneed from hitting free agency. If they are to part with the talented corner, they will surely get a nice package in return.

As far as where Sneed could potentially end up, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler highlighted two notable teams: the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.

“Cornerback was a popular position of discussion in Indy, most notably for the trade market. We know the Chiefs are working on a potential tag-and-trade with L’Jarius Sneed, and multiple teams are believed to be in the mix there,” Fowler reported.

“The word out of Indy is that Detroit is pretty set on adding a high-end corner, so the Lions are one to watch. Miami is worth keeping an eye on, too,” he added.

Sneed’s impact on the field for the Chiefs has been significant, playing a pivotal role in securing the team’s second consecutive Super Bowl title last month.

As is usually the case, Sneed’s stat line doesn’t nearly tell the entire story of his dominance.

Quarterbacks shied away from throwing his way for the most part. Notably, he didn’t allow a single touchdown during the entire duration of the regular season.

Whether intentional or not, Sneed stirred the rumor pot further when he posted a photo of himself in an eagle pose along with an eagle emoji on social media…

What are your thoughts on Sneed as a player?

Where do you rank him among the top cornerbacks in the NFL?

What type of contract is he deserving of?

Assuming he will be traded, where do you think would be the best spot for him?

Would he help push the Lions or Dolphins over the top???
