SEC Teams Going Wild For NFL Superstar’s QB Son

Gunner Rivers, the son of legendary NFL quarterback Philip Rivers, has officially received his first offer from an SEC school.

According to reports, the rising star quarterback now holds an offer from Auburn, adding to the one he previously received from his father’s alma mater, NC State.

Interestingly, Auburn isn’t the only SEC school taking notice.

As it turns out, in addition to Auburn, representatives from Alabama and Texas A&M visited St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, Alabama, to meet with Rivers, who is already making waves as a sophomore.

Currently ranked as the No. 4 quarterback in the Class of 2027, Rivers boasts an impressive 5-star ranking and looks to be the real deal.

His on-field performance backs up the hype: in just two years of high school football, he has amassed 7,024 passing yards, 70 total touchdowns, and only 10 interceptions.

Naturally, there is extra interest in Gunner thanks to his famous father.

During his illustrious 17-season NFL career, the elder Rivers threw for 63,440 yards and 421 touchdowns, along with 209 interceptions.

Despite never winning a Super Bowl, there is a strong case to be made that Philip Rivers deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Only time will tell if that ends up happening.

While Gunner’s recruitment is still in its early stages, the similarities between father and son are undeniable.

From his growing list of college suitors to his undeniable talent, Gunner is already making a strong case to follow in his father’s footsteps.
