It’s that time of the year! … The three finalists for the prestigious Maxwell Award in college football have been officially unveiled.
Among the standout players vying for the honor are LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, and Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
The Maxwell Award recognizes the best player in college football, and this year’s competition promises to be tight.

All three finalists are expected to be in the mix for the Heisman Trophy award as well.
Daniels showcased remarkable explosiveness, completing 72.2% of his passes for an impressive 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns, and just four interceptions.

Nix has been a driving force for Oregon, boasting an unbelievable completion percentage of 78.6% to go along with 3,906 yards, 37 touchdowns, and a mere two interceptions.

Meanwhile, Penix Jr. has been a force to be reckoned with for the Huskies, completing 65.6% of his passes for 3,899 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
