REPORT: THESE Are The 6 Teams Most Aggressively Pursuing Former #1 Recruit Walter Nolen … Who Will Win Him Over??

Texas A&M star defensive lineman Walter Nolen has entered the transfer portal, creating a buzz in the college football world.

The 20-year-old standout, who was the #1 ranked recruit in the 2022 class, is now at the center of attention as six major programs have emerged as serious contenders to land him.

According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Tennessee, Michigan, LSU, Oregon, Georgia, and Texas are among the top contenders to haul in Nolen.

Interestingly, it should be noted that a return to Texas A&M has not been ruled out.

Nolen’s father, Walter Nolen Sr., told Wiltfong that the majority of SEC schools have expressed interest in his son.

The Aggies finished the 2023 regular season with a mediocre 7-5 record.

They will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys on December 27th in the Texas.

While the expectations remain sky-high, A&M will be entering a bit of a transition period as they move on from the fired-Jimbo Fisher to new head coach Mike Elko.

What are your thoughts on Nolen as a player?

Where do you think he will end up?

Getting back to A&M for a second, what do you think of the hire of Elko?

Can he bring the Aggies to the elite level of college football???
