REPORT: The “Majority Of Teams” Are Interested In Signing THIS All-Star Pitcher…

According to reports, the uncertainty surrounding Brandon Woodruff’s pitching future in 2024 hasn’t deterred interest from a majority of clubs.

The two-time All-Star, who recently underwent right shoulder surgery, is now a free agent after being non-tendered by the Milwaukee Brewers.

MLB Network insider Jon Paul Morosi provided insights into Woodruff’s current standing in the free-agent market, stating that “a majority of MLB teams” are expressing interest in Woodruff.

The 30-year-old Woodruff is expected to sign a multiyear contract this winter despite the cloud of uncertainty hanging over his immediate future on the mound.

His impressive track record over the past five seasons has undoubtedly contributed to the widespread interest from teams.

The right-handed pitcher faced a setback during the 2023 regular season when shoulder problems sidelined him for four months … Unfortunately, this also led to his absence in the Brewers NL Wild Card Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Over nine starts in August and September, he posted an impressive 2.59 ERA and held opposing hitters to a mere .170 average.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his health and availability for the upcoming season, Woodruff’s overall body of work keeps him an attractive commodity on the market.

What are your thoughts on Woodruff?

Where do you think he’ll end up???
