In a shocking report, LSU head coach Brian Kelly is allegedly contemplating a move to the University of Michigan if current Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh decides to take an NFL job.
Kelly, who recently left Notre Dame for LSU, has apparently expressed a strong interest in coaching at Michigan if the opportunity arises.
LSU radio host Matt Moscona shared his confidence in this speculation, stating: “If Michigan pursues Brian Kelly, he would leave LSU for Michigan. I am confident in saying that.”
Rumors are swirling in Baton Rouge that If Jim Harbaugh were to leave Michigan for a NFL opening that Brian Kelly would be first in line to be the Wolverines head coach.

The potential move would mark another unexpected shift in Kelly’s coaching career, which would no doubt raise plenty of eyebrows in the college football world.
Nobody likes a hot-shot coach who bounces around year after year after year … If Kelly goes from Notre Dame to LSU to Michigan – all in the matter of a few years – let’s just say that’s not a good look to say the least.
Well no shit Brian Kelly would leave LSU for Michigan. We're Michigan. We can get anybody we want. But we don't want him. Harbaugh is building the greatest dynasty in the history of college football. We're good. https://t.co/mC339ozI98

There are reports that Harbaugh is in negotiations with Michigan on a potential contract extension. (Michigan would be fools not to try to extend him.)
A hold up in the negotiations could be a potential “NFL clause” as Michigan is worried about Harbaugh eventually leaving for the professional ranks – and rightfully so.
There are reports that a potential 10-year, $125 million contract could be on the table for Harbaugh to stay in Ann Arbor – IF he’s able to keep his wandering eyes away from NFL openings.
Michigan offers Jim Harbaugh 10-year, $125 million contract with one catch: NFL would be off the table for Harbaugh in 2024. https://t.co/fd4NMzAGXH

Of course, the most important matter of business for Harbaugh and the Wolverines is their upcoming showdown against Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff.
First of all, who do you think is going to win the epic New Years Day clash – Michigan or Alabama?
Secondly, what do you think ends up happening with Harbaugh?
Will he end up staying at Michigan? … Or will the itch of the NFL world prove to be too much for Harbaugh at the end of the day???
It's rumor season, and a hot one has Brian Kelly to Michigan if Jim Harbaugh returns to NFL. Column:https://t.co/8FGKAEaw3e pic.twitter.com/p2yn40ijvb

As far as Kelly, would you consider Michigan a “bigger job” than LSU?
If Harbaugh was to leave Michigan – and Kelly takes his place – would that reflect poorly on Kelly for bouncing around so much, especially in such a short period of time???
This is the second prominent media member who has guaranteed Brian Kelly leaving #LSU for Michigan.
