A cloud of speculation is swirling around Jordon Hudson, the controversial girlfriend of legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick, after a resurfaced video and new reporting raised doubts about her actual age.
Fans are now questioning whether the former cheerleader and pageant contestant may have misrepresented her birth year – possibly to make her relationship with the 73-year-old football icon appear (slightly) less controversial.
In a recent episode of his podcast Pablo Torre Finds Out, reporter Pablo Torre pointed to a video of Hudson competing in the 2024 Miss Maine USA pageant, where she reportedly stated she was 22 years old.
If accurate, that would suggest she turned 23 this past April. However, Torre claims to have uncovered documents indicating she was actually born in April 2000, which would make her 24 – raising eyebrows about why she might shave a year off her age.
“She did not put her accurate birthday,” Torre said, who claims Hudson was born in 2001. Hudson allegedly filled out her application with her month and birth year as “April 2000.”
Torre framed the question as more than a simple error.
“The reason I have been wondering, ‘Why does this keep happening? Why does no one know?’ does connect to another question I’ve been pondering … I want to ask you guys: Have you ever mistyped your own birth year?” Torre asked.
Torre then referenced an “internal document” that has reportedly circulated within the University of North Carolina’s football program – where Belichick is of course the new head coach.
“The reason I ask that question is because this is a question that’s been asked around the North Carolina football program. It has been asked because I have learned of an internal document that’s been circulating around said program.”
Torre’s co-hosts, Katie Nolan and Michael Cruz Kayne, floated the theory that Hudson might have adjusted her age to make the timeline of her relationship with Belichick appear more palatable.
The couple allegedly met on a flight in 2021, which would mean Hudson was either 19 or 20 at the time, depending on her true birthdate.
So far, Hudson has not publicly responded to Torre’s claims.
The controversy comes on the heels of another viral moment involving Hudson. During a CBS Sunday Morning interview promoting Belichick’s new book The Art of Winning, host Tony Dokoupil brought up the couple’s relationship – prompting a sharp interjection from Hudson, who was off-camera but audibly said, “We’re not talking about this.”
The moment sparked a wave of reaction online, prompting Belichick to issue a formal statement defending Hudson and criticizing CBS.
“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book,” Belichick said.
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.
“After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
CBS responded swiftly, disputing Belichick’s claims.
“When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview. There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”
With the couple now facing questions on both public and personal fronts, it remains to be seen whether Hudson or Belichick will further address the growing speculation about her actual age – or if the attention will fade as quickly as it arrived.
