PRODIGY??: Ryan Day’s Son Is A Star HS QB & Is Receiving Interest From THESE Major Programs … Will Day Let Him Get Away??

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day’s son, RJ, is already carving out his own path on the football field.

A freshman quarterback at St. Francis De Sales in Columbus, Ohio, RJ is attracting significant attention from college programs, receiving early scholarship offers from Marshall and Boston College.

RJ, a recruit in the class of 2027, is not only on the radar of these schools but also drawing interest from several major programs, including Clemson and South Carolina.

Recently, RJ had the opportunity to visit both of these prominent programs.

“I get an opportunity to be around some great people in the sport. So more importantly, just try to expose him to different people and connections and see it from a different lens,” Ryan Day said on the Morning Juice show on 97.1 The Fan.

“He gets to see what happens at Ohio State, but to go down and visit a Clemson, visit South Carolina. Dabo and Shane both do an unbelievable job down there. So just try to get him around great people.”

Ryan Day, who is certainly no stranger to the pressures and demands of big-time college football, appreciates the unique perspective his son’s recruitment provides.

Reflecting on RJ’s early years and his eventual embrace of the sport, Day shared a humorous yet heartfelt recollection.

“Growing up I wasn’t sure if he’d like football or not. There was a point where I didn’t think he had any chance of being an athlete,” Day recalled.

“We actually have some videos of it. We laugh with the girls about it. But he’s embraced it, and he just loves it. It’s his life.”

Of course, being in the class of 2027, RJ still has a long way to go.

We’ll see how he develops as a quarterback … But can you envision him one day playing for his father at Ohio State?

Taking a look at much more pressing matters … Do you think Day’s Buckeyes will live up to the hype this season?

With a team as talented as they are, anything less than a national championship would be considered a failure for Ohio State.

Will they get the job done???
