Paul Finebaum Reveals Shocking Deion Sanders Prediction

Deion Sanders has repeatedly emphasized his long-term commitment to the University of Colorado football program, but skepticism remains about how long he will stay.

Colorado, now 1-1, suffered a massive yet predictable setback with their 28-10 blowout loss to Nebraska on Saturday night.

The Huskers took control early, going up 28-0 by halftime and maintaining their lead throughout the game.

In the wake of the defeat, ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum expressed doubts about Sanders’ future at Colorado.

Speaking on “The Matt Barrie Show,” Finebaum predicted that Coach Prime will leave the program after this season.

“I don’t think Deion Sanders will be there next year,” Finebaum said. “This season, when they fail to go to a bowl game, he’s going to look around and try to find an exit strategy.

“No more Travis [Hunter], no more Shedeur [Sanders] — what’s the motivation for him to beat himself up? So, I think enjoy the Deion show. It will be playing somewhere next year.

“It may be off Broadway. It may be on Broadway. But it won’t be in Boulder.”

Despite Finebaum’s claims, Sanders has previously dismissed speculation about his potential departure from Colorado.

In an interview with FOX’s Joel Klatt earlier this summer, Coach Prime reaffirmed his dedication to the program.

“I’m a leader of men, not a follower of men. I’m a father, not a baby daddy. I lead my sons. I don’t follow my sons,” Sanders said. “My sons, Travis [Hunter] included, are getting ready to migrate to the NFL. I’m not following them to the NFL.

“I paved the way for my babies. They’re not paving the way for me. So, I plan on being here and being dominant here, because they’re establishing something that we’re going to continue to build on for years to come. And I’m thankful that they’re establishing what they’re establishing.”

What are your thoughts on Finebaum’s prediction? … Will this indeed be the final year for Sanders at Colorado?

Despite all the hype and attention, it’s clear that Colorado is just simply not a good football team … Will they even make a bowl game this season???
