The Dallas Cowboys suffered arguably the most disappointing loss in their franchise history last month.
As we know, owner Jerry Jones controversially decided to stick with Mike McCarthy as head coach.
Despite his regular season success, many felt his constant postseason failures were going to doom him – especially with coaches such as Bill Belichick, Jim Harbaugh and Mike Vrabel available … But Jones decided to hang onto him after all.

Needless to say, things have to change in Dallas. They can’t just run-it-back with the same team and the same approach.
Rich Eisen of the NFL Network has a very interesting suggestion for Jones and the Cowboys … He believes they should sign free agent running back Derrick Henry to help improve the culture and attitude in Big D.
God I hope not. Henry deserves better than the cowboys.

“Here’s what I think (Jones) needs to do – and you have to extend Dak in order to have the room to do it … You want to go all-in? Go sign Derrick Henry. Go get him. Put the star on the side of his helmet. That’s what they’re missing – somebody to take the damn pressure off the quarterback,” Eisen said.
“One way to help out Dak is to give him fewer throws that he has to make,” he added.

While Eisen acknowledged the potential addition of other notable players such as wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, he made it clear that Henry should be the top priority for the Cowboys.
However, Eisen remained cautious about expecting Henry to be a cure-all for the Cowboys playoff struggles, considering the team had a premier running back in Ezekiel Elliott during several playoff appearances, yet never sniffed a Super Bowl.
“To just assume that Derrick Henry will be able to do for Dak what Elliott couldn’t might be some wishful thinking,” Eisen said.

What do you think of Eisen’s suggestion???
Should the Cowboys pursue Henry? … How much does he have left in the tank?
Although he might be too expensive, would Saquon Barkley be a better option?
Looking at the bigger picture, do you think it was a mistake for Jones to keep McCarthy?
What do the Cowboys need to do to build a TRUE Super Bowl contender???
