Oklahoma Quarterback Dillon Gabriel Reveals Next Destination After Transfer Portal Entry

Dillon Gabriel has made his decision on where he’ll continue his football journey after leaving Oklahoma. The highly-regarded quarterback in the transfer portal has reportedly chosen Oregon as his next destination, as first reported by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.

Feldman’s report stated, “Dillon Gabriel has committed to Oregon, per source. He was considered by many coaches the top QB in the portal. ‘Very accurate, quick release.’ Should be a great fit for the Ducks system.”

Gabriel has since confirmed this commitment on social media. He shared the news with his followers, signaling his intention to join the Oregon Ducks.

In the 2023 season, Gabriel showcased his skills with an impressive performance, accumulating 3,660 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. Additionally, he contributed 373 rushing yards and scored 12 touchdowns on the ground.

Oregon had a need for a quarterback, especially with Bo Nix’s departure to the NFL. It appears they’ve secured an excellent replacement in Dillon Gabriel.
