Nolan Arenado and José Ramírez Are Locks for the Hall of Fame

Third base has traditionally been underrepresented in the Hall of Fame, but Nolan Arenado and José Ramírez are doing their best to change that. Both players have built resumes that could one day earn them a plaque in Cooperstown.

Arenado, known for his elite defense, ranks 18th in JAWS among third basemen. His 341 career home runs, 1,132 RBI, and nine Gold Gloves make him a standout at the position. While the Coors Field stigma may linger, his consistency and defensive wizardry bolster his case.

Ramírez has a different profile, combining power, speed, and versatility. He’s finished in the top six of MVP voting five times and has over 1,500 hits, 255 home runs, and 243 steals. Though slightly behind Arenado and Machado in JAWS, Ramírez’s all-around game could make him a future Hall of Famer.
