Jaylen Brown Has Shocking Reaction To Being Caught On Camera Bashing Bronny James … Can He Survive In The NBA??

NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown was caught on camera saying what the vast majority of the basketball world thinks – Bronny James is not a legitimate NBA player.

At last night’s Summer League game between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, Brown was sitting courtside next to his rumored girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick and WNBA player Angel Reese.

In the video, Brown appeared to make negative comments about Bronny James.

According to reports, the conversation went as follows…

Brown: “I don’t think Bronny [James] is a pro.”

Gondrezick: “I think he’ll be on the G-league team for sure.”

Brown: “I don’t think so, I think because of his name he’ll be on the Lakers.”

After the video went viral, Brown nearly pulled a hamstring while backpedaling.

“It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the NBA it reflects greatness and longevity! Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth,” he posted on X.

Needless to say, Brown faced criticism for backing down from his stance.

“You goofed on this one bruh! You are only responding because you were actually caught on camera. Just be man enough to stand by your words!” one user said to him on X.

Again, Brown is far from alone with his opinion that Bronny is not a legitimate NBA player.

We all know why the Lakers drafted him. Just as we all know why he was given an unprecedented four-year, $7.9 million deal despite being selected 55th overall. (Last year’s 55th pick signed a two-way contract worth $560,000.)

Unsurprisingly, Bronny is off to a nightmare start in Summer League and has looked severely overwhelmed.

But don’t worry – it’s not all doom and gloom for Bronny.

He just won a Call of Duty competition…

Getting back to Brown – the Bronny story isn’t the only drama he’s been dealing with lately.

Following Kawhi Leonard’s departure from Team USA, many expected Brown to take his spot on the Olympic roster.

However, he was passed over in favor of his Boston teammate Derrick White (who may very well be the most underrated player in the entire NBA).

Amid rumors that Nike played a role in keeping him off the team, Brown backtracked from his cryptic social media posts and made a statement of support for White getting the honor.

“I wasn’t surprised, but my reaction was that I was happy for D White. It’s dope to have so much of our guys on there, so I was happy for those guys. But I wasn’t surprised,” he said.

What are your thoughts on the Brown’s comments?

What is YOUR opinion of Bronny?

Will he end up being a useful player in the NBA? … Or is it only a matter of time before he bombs out of the league???
